HERRINGBONE STYLE ANTI-SLIP RAMPS
The ramps are constructed with a casting concrete struck off and shaped in a suitable way for the transit of every kind of vehicle. The ramps are then divided with deep cuts to guarantee first of all the settlement by dilatation, but also for an aesthetic reason.
Afterwards a fresh casting of quartz topping is applied in order to guarantee an effective setting. Finally the anti-slip ramp is pressed to obtain the herringbone pattern.
Exactly for this particular wet on wet technique, Barichello S.r.L. has always distinguished itself for guaranteeing a long lasting product.
WASHED GRAVEL RAMPS
Wet on dry
The surface must be cured for at least 7 days with a minimum slope of 2 cm per linear metre pre-cured prior to milling and/or high pressure washing, it doesn’t have to have cracks, it must be prepared in an uniform way without any spots of slurry or dust, and the structure must be already in place. Then we proceed with the installation of the bonding primer. Once this is installed, the concrete gravel mixture and concentrated fibre reinforced colour admixture are laid, afterwards the PVC joints are installed. After that the smoothing is carried out with the appropriate tools. The final step is the washing which gives the ramp a polished finish.
